the fireworks (hanabi) in the neighbouring city of tsuchiura is meant to be one of the top three hanabi in japan... what you see here went on for 2 and a half hours. it is meant to be a sort of exhibition for fireworks vendors, but no pikachu fireworks this year :/ at the same time was the main school festival, which we were at before riding to tsuchiura in the afternoon yadokari sai was more colourful
